Hi y'all, first thread here or something, and it isn't even a proper chop...

Anyway, I decided to join in on a competition Driftworks is hosting where you can win two tickets to Awesomefest if you win. The competition is to design the 2011 Driftworks livery. Just started to work on it this morning and got about 45 mins put into it before I had to go to uni, so I haven't done that much and it might not bee that good. That's where you guys come in, I need some feedback, pointers etc to what I can do to make it awesome

The plan is for the Federal part to be continuing over the hood in the same way it flows over the fender. The same with the "Dwaine"-logo on the rear quarters. Might even do a hood design if I can be arsed too.

Ideas, pointers and general feedback is much appreciated!

but I prefer black wheels!

I like the paint! Make the wheels in the same color as the awesomefest 2011 logo, I think that wil be a nice touch

Allright, done a top view now as well as adding a few logos to the sideskirts:




Any opinions? I know the Federal rows aren't completely level but I CBA to redo it all now

keep up and try to make the two logos on the sideskirt the same height..

If I do that the DW logo will crash with the Sky Insurance logo, and if I do the Federal logo any smaller it will be too much open space left

Anyway, changed the placement of the Awesomefest logo as it didn't flow with the rest of the design. Any opinions?

Another update, this time I made some gunmetalchrome-ishishish rims to fit the grey coloured parts of the body design and moved the DW-sticker on the skirt up a bit as requested by Davide.


Also updated this version by center-orienting the stickers on the hood (the middle sponsor ones) and warped the DW logo on the wing.
