So I thought I'd start up a new chop now that autemo's open, so why not do it in the autemo colour scheme?!?!

So far this is fully brushed without any reference pics and I hope to keep it that way. I'm planning to brush everything apart from the bg, with rims possibly over brushed.

I'm planning fairly subtle body mods, with possibly a small front lip and side-skirt canard. I also want to brush a roll cage and interior, so any reference pics for seats would be appreciated.

It's quite messy at the moment and I still have a long way to go, but please point out any obvious flaws that you think I might miss.

can i give you a tip?

considering the side of the car we can see is pretty bright and vivid, it should actually be dark and in shadow when we consider the lighting in the bg. What i would advise doing is either flipping the bg or flipping the car horizontally so sort that out.

80% of any chop is getting the lighting and atmosphere right. You can be the best brusher in the world, but if the car doesnt sit right in the bg, then you might aswell have chopped in MS paint

I'll give flipping the bg a go. I was thinking that the right side was a bit too lit up too, but I was having a bit of trouble making the side look realistic so I added all of these light refs lol.

Another WIP with car flipped and some more light refs on the side and front arch. Had a bit of trouble with the bg mainly because I made it around the cars original position, so I had to do some major cloning . Don't worry that'll be fixed up soon.
