::jackdarton:: Lotus Exige Shadow GT

Here's something I started earlier tonight, hoping to have it super atmospheric and awesomely aggressive. Going for a matte black paint... Should come out pretty epic when it's finished :D

Hello.
ooh yay :)
proper wip thread now :D
the base looks like it could really turn out something quite epic, and if you nail that matte paint it'll look awaesome :D

as for the bg its spot on atmosphere wise, although, the tarmac may be slightly off
Keep us posted :-d

Nah man, I don't like it... too much toony :-q

xD
Signature removed because it's too large. Read the rules about signature sizes.
:o This will look uber sexy once finished. Pay a lot of effort getting that atmosphere and lighting down pat. I can't wait to see the car with lighting from that sunset coming over it's shoulders! :-d
thanks ^^ Update in first post.
Hello.
Another update ^^

Won't be working on this for a few days, might get some time in on Saturday to do some.
Hello.
Looks promising, but I think the refs in the side should be more yellow, since even though it's black it will reflect the sky. But you are probably going back and fixing that with an overlay layer right? ;) Sneaky bastard! ;)

Hard to tell if the paint is tooney or matt yet (as in, realistic or tooney) but I'm sure you'll pull it off.

Cheers.

looking awesome, i really like the design! ;) only thing i hav to say is that you should smudge the paint in some places to get rid of those "rings" in the paint :)

Thanks ^^

@Algeroth: I havent even started the "reflections" yet :D Well, I have but not on the uploaded version as you can see. It will hopefully look photo realistic when it's done :) My main aim is an awesome atmosphere. It will be matte black

@ToMiii: Thanks! The paint will undergo a lot of work, what I have there is barely even a canvas for me to start on. The lighting you see is just so I have a reference of what parts stick out where etc without flicking back and forth between the base :)
Hello.
last update for a week :) Started working on the lighting a bit more now. Still, a hell of a long way to go with the paint yet.
