Over the weekend there was a auto show called MotorEx, It consist of some of Aust. best SHOW cars so there shiny as Fuk , And So they may not be everyone's taste, Bust just to show some of the range of cars show and go, Australia has to offer. (Hater's you've been warned !!! )

Very nice pics you got there Hui, I'm kicking myself for missing it. I got myself a digital SLR last week and I've been hanging to take it to a car show and test it out. Do you know of any other shows on soon?

Hmmm. But after a quick Google search, it Say's your down in Wollongong, Because I'm in West Sydney it's a bit hard to know what evens down in your area.

These are the only 2 major events I know at the moment, It's shame because last few month there were Alot more, So I'll tell you I hear any more events.

But the best way to find cruise and events is to join car forums and browse around there's alot of weekend meets and cruises happening but not publicly known (Do you have a car? Because that will help alot. )

Thanx J, yeah I went to the auto salon last year that was a good one.Its a nice cruze into Sydney and takes less than an hour. I have a VT commodore so joining a club might be an idea too( if the missus lets me), I think there is a south coust commodores club. I'll look into it

But yea I've recently joined Jdmst, a Jap car forum in Aust and it's great, you meet new people with same passion and the missus don't have to know, it's only a forum, it's the meets and weekend cruise that might piss her off "damn all you guys are the same, with your cars" , or if not then try and go take pics of your own car and experiment with different lighting. What camera you got ?

For These it was just a Standard Canon lens, expensive yet not even near top of the range.
- Canon 18-135mm IS F/3.5-5.6 and was using my new camera Canon 550D

Currently my setup looks like this + 2 tripods and 2 flashes :


But been meaning to save up for a new lens because my gears not up to scratch and one of the smaller lens are in bad condition and needs to be replaced by a better one.
Sigh.... I really want photography - multimedia as a career.

Brilliant stuff J, I'm envious you get decent cars appearing at shows near you AND you got the WTAC.
Looked on your flickr for those pics and was really impressed with the drift photo's you got.
If you can do this kind of stuff with equipment you feel isnt upto scratch, then I look forward to the quality of your future work with different lenses.

That R34 is seriously hot!

Yeah I've been asked several times to send Hr's as donors, But i got 1500 pictures over the 2 days. Meaning ... Im not about to go zipping up 2.5gb's and Rapidsharing It.

But if you guys want, pick out a few, Pm me and (depending if i like you or not) I'll send you the unedited Highres Images. Or else I'm keeping them to myself MUHAHAH !!!

And yep, hoping for a new lens for much sharper images, and can shoot Bokeh style image. Then also hope to save up for some Portable lighting equipment and then some cheap ebay remote control for my external flashes. it will be awesome, But i need money and fast. Because I've contacted the owner of the R34 and he might be up for a photoshoot.
