Changing the rims and added a background

any advice would be appreciated

Not too shabby from what I can see! I noticed you still have spinning tyres, and I'm assuming you're leaving it on the motion background. In which case, you should give the new wheels spin blur.

The exposed parts look a bit skewed & squished, I'd also suggest straightening that out so it doesn't look fake. Also, you should fill in that empty gap between the rear wheel and the parts by either adding something else there or adding some shading to smooth out the edge.

I also noticed the rear section is not painted black like the rest of the car, is it left like that on purpose?

Agree pretty much with Hexaflux. Interesting start, lets see where this is heading.

What do you mean, Are you looking for still backgrounds?
