Your Model Car Collection

Thought i'd start this thread to see what members of Autemo have in their model car collection.

Also this thread can be a place to exchange tips & resources for modifying a model car

My Collection as of Xmas Day 2009 - (Back) Audi R8, Ferrari 500 Barchetta, Maserati Gran Turismo, Shelby Mustang GT, Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione & (Front) Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 & Nissan GT-R (Newest)

I'm looking into re-spraying the Mustang in Tamiya PS-19 Camel Yellow Polycarbonate paint, but can't find any lacquer to go with it, only other option is to go with plastic lacquer.

Will be a nice thread for autemo and great to see what other people have.

Heheheh, i was hoping for one of these thread to pop up :D

First off: My best collection: Autoart R32, R34's cost $130 Aud each. GT-R $70 just bought 2 weeks ago, and was DIY resprayed Grey ( bad results xD )

Then the DIY collection: rims on Lambo, rims and exhaust on the bmw, and rims, exhaust and sound system in the escort.

then the rest, S13, and R34 are plastic.

Going to extend my collection with another one in a week or two.

I don't have many model cars, but as a few of u kno i've got a few 1/10 scale HPI nitro rc cars (R34, S15 drifter and a monster truck)..
I do have one model car: Tamiya 1/24 scale Xanavi Nismo R34GTR thats still sitting in the box. carbon fibre edition. Its been in the box for about 2years lol, prob be in there for many more to come.

What scale are all you guys models?
except for Chapster's supra i assume all 1:18.

Sigh... i want a drift RC, but the body is 100 the wireless controls are 100, then you have to buy the recievers, then petrol / battery's. OMG
Hmm.. i really should go check on ebay.

definitely ebay if u can. keep in mind electric ones are heaps cheaper and they're still fun so theres an option for you. But imo they got nothin on a little gas engine screamin down the road sideways at like 15,000rpm hahah. not too long ago I spent like 20 on a bigger pod filter, 30 on ceramic brake disc and 50 on a neon and head/tail/indicator lighting setup.. so be careful the little buggers can almost end up costing as much as a real one XD. The recievers (servos) come with the radio controller btw ;)
So does the electric ones drift decent or should i go for a petrol one??
im considering a elec, but there still like 200 :omg: and most of the ones on sale are shell only :/

hmm should save up for a real car instead xD
