mazda 2 wip

not sure where i'm going with this
first wip thread on autemo
most people here dont know i always work without rough sketches or pasted parts , i always go step by step and only have smooth results in between..
just my way of working

first i really cleaned out all stuff i dont want there , rebuild the ori refs and like always set the stance / ride hight

from here on i will gradually build up ..

worksize is 1920x.....in photoshop format

i suppose it won't be as wild as JD's but looks good even in this early wip stage. What style are you aiming for? Need an update :D

i just see where i end up ..
no plan in particulair

some wheels for now and a mild color tone to get a feel ...

Rims look good on it, colors match perfect imo!
Rear one looks off to me... Like it's too far back or something, can't really put my finger on it atm.

thnx , yeah the rear one was a bit hard but i will change the arch slightly as well
i like to end up with a slammed airride look , they always tend to go back the wheels then ..
but i'm gonna move the rim a bit now :)

did a rough set up on the skirt and made the green slightly different

wheel position altered :-d

colortone wise its starting to become like i want , i will add more filters along the way , eitch filter to match the new mods ...

Wheel looks better now :)
Nice skirt and skid marks ^^

thnx :)

added some sort of buldge on the bottom of the rear bumper to resemble a fat lower lip
also gave the right vent more depth by increasing the shade and re placed the plastics without the fogs and will add mesh there later on to get some sort of stock sport vent
made the overal paint a tad more shiny again

chop2z.jpg

now the front needs a real cool lip witch matches the rest :-d

more shading on the lower part of the doors to get more depth in that area ..
chop2d.jpg

then gave the part above the dark more lighting for realism
chop2.jpg

this is just a small thing but i think its fun to show that even original lines can be enhanced and improved , something all my chops have , work that usually does not show :-d
