If you care about proper colour go with an IPS panel.
Best bang for the buck would be LG IPS237L.
It has very thin bezels so very useful in a dual screen setup.

If you want to pay some more: Dell has some of the best.
Best "entry" model of theirs would be the Dell Ultrasharp U2312HM. I G0T ME TAHT WAN :)

Samsung is for noobs. :-d

packard bell 24" and the other details????
I love 🔰 !!!
well good monitors for design and with true accurate colours, and good for extensive use can be quite expensive, do not think the bigger the better, 24, 22 or even 21 inch with 1920 is perfect

i would seriouslly advise you dell or hp,

not sure of your budget, but if you have 300 quid to spend i advise the Dell U2410

dells are the best monitors i ever used, and all the design compnays i have been trough have the dells, theyre are proven to be the designers choice

if youre on a tight budget i would advise the Dell S2240L

depends on the brand, but dont just buy any random a 21 inch 1920, most budget monitors out there might be good for normal internet/games etc use, but for photoshop and other graphics applications you will strugle with the colours, contrasts and lighting, go for a "budget"dell, theyre not that expensive and theyre usually damn good , it might cost something near £140

ive had a 22 inch lg, a 21 inch acer, an asus, and my all time fav monitors where Dell, the asus was cool, but the dell was over the top

i now have an LG flatron w2261vp -- http://static.1k.by/images/products/ip/big/p280000/pb/d/274956/id8f6f37f3.jpeg

im not overly happy with it, it does the job quite good, theyre not bad, but far from being a good monitor for designers, but i cant complain to much, bought it new for £80 hahahaha
