[ASC 2012] Round 2 - Division 2
[ASC 2012] Round 2 - Division 2
Last round brought some really impressive entries, but we want to see you guys put more effort into this round!
Here are the competitors in DIVISION 2. If you do not see your username here, please check the other division.
elmo28
Flavio-Bauck
GT Studio
hugosilva
Matt_K
memphis
SatwikaDe
TK Tuning
-xanforce-
XTomi Tuning
As you may have noticed, the artists have been shuffled in order to gain an equal spread of talent through both of the divisions.
YOUR TASK
Honda S3000
With the Subaru BRZ / Toyota '86 being such a successful venture for those two Automotive companies, it's not a stretch to suggest that Honda may feed off their success with a new two door coupe/convertible derived from the successful S2000.
What we want to you do this round is bring back this legend of a car, with a Honda S3000 concept. For freedom there is no set base, however we do suggest you use a S2000 as a guide for perspectives and/or body lines.
The best entries will be ones that combine the elements of the previous generation S2000, with contemporary design. Your design should also seem to "fit in" with the current Honda vehicle line.
We do not want to see a simple chop of an S2000 - judges will be rewarding creative and original designs!
DEADLINE
This is a knockout based tournament, the TOP 4 voted competitors from this division advance to the Semi Final. You have until:
Thursday 25th of October, 2012, 9:59pm UTC+11 (10:59am UTC)
(click above text for count-down timer to deadline)
Judging will begin shortly after this, and be undertaken by the judges in their separate sub-forum. Allow approximately 2 weeks between the closing of the competition and the release of the results.
Please refer to the official rules of the competition, and if you have any other queries please ask in this thread or PM an admin.
Here are the final requirements of submission:
The Autemo logo must feature on your final image(s) somewhere. You can download the Autemo logo here: Logo Pack
Post your entries, 800px wide in this thread. AND supply a link to the FULL high-res version, too.
Your entry MUST also include at least 5 work in progress (WIP) images of your entry at various stages of its completion. These images must not be misleading (i.e. make it look as though you've done more work than you have).
We also request that with your submission you post any major references used. If, for example, you have used a donor extensively for perspective or copy and paste purposes please post this donor along with your chop. Members who do not do this are considered as misleading the public.
Members violating any of these rules will receive a vote penalty.
Best of luck - be sure to impress us!
