For reference, here was the task:

YOUR TASK

2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe

Here we have the latest offering of the Genesis Coupe from Korean manufacturer, Hyundai. A car that has attracted much attention for it's curvaceous, yet aggressive lines, we want you to make it look even better!

We have no real restrictions for how we want you to modify the base this round, however we do want you to keep the car distinctly a Hyundai Genesis - don't go creating a spaceship out of it!

Judges will be looking for entries that feature modifications that seem realistic to carry out, and work that displays a high technical ability. There are two base images to work your magic on - we highly suggest you tackle both!

3 points - Chita designer (it seems to be the most complete and detailed chop on this division, its a very well produced chop, it looks realistic and stylish, this woul be my obvious pick for first place here)

2 points - Flavio bauck (good chop, its finished both views, wich i think its one of the main factors here, rear seems rushed a bit, but overall its a nice chop)

1 point - Rookiejeno (This chop would probably take my first place if a front view was provided, iet i cant give him first place when he didnt completed the task)

3pts - Chita Designer
- I love the front image. So angry and a great kit.
- Brushing is great.
- I can see that you are focused on the chop!
- It is great that you have completed both images.

2pts - Flavio-Bauck
- Nice atmosphere!
- Brushing is great.
- Rear view seems to be a little rushed?
- Great job man!

1pt - Rookiejeno
- Really gorgeous! If you would have made the front image, this would have been number one..
- Great atmosphere, brushing.. Great job!
3 points - Chita designer : great looks great background great atmosphere .
Even though the car has not a lot of changes and seems clean, imo the the most realistic one and best looking one .

2 points - Flavio bauck : Great scene, great lighting but the front view the car looks to big for the door, should have compared them both and make em equal size but it has 2 views and they both look good.

1 point - Rookiejeno : LIke Hugo said if this had front view it would be my number one to, love the vinyl design and background and scenery, the atmoshpere is great to! , just a shame no front view thats why its number 3 on my list.

Great work everyone! , shake TK tuning did not finish his cus I can see the potential and it would have been my number 1.

3p to Chita
Best execution with a good dose of styling. Front bumper looks great!

2p to Flavio-Bauck
Great backgrounds and nice styling as well although some shapes in the front bumper don't suit the car's own shapes. Makes the body kit look cheap.

1p to rookiejeno
Sweet lighting in the image but it seems most of it has been a little rushed, knowing what you are capable of. Styling is all right but you should've done something to the rear bumper. Maybe a diffuser would have been in order.

TK Tuning
This looked very interesting! Too bad you didn't finish it.
3 points = Flavio-Bauck - love it! One of my favourite from the whole round! The styling, the atmosphere and lighting, perfect for front and rear! I know there is a heavy use of reference/ donor material, but seriously - this looks incredible :D Really well done!!

2 points = Chita Designer - feels a little toony and a little fake if I'm honest. But it's a cool design and actually a very good effort, I guess only narrowly missing out on all 3 points from me. However, I feel that those rims don't really suit it, and the front view seems much too dark. But minor things really, and overall a very good entry :D

1 point = rookiejeno - only one view, and very toony. To add to the toonyness is the fact that the lighting is completely wrong on the paint compared to the bg. However an awesome atmosphere has been created and some cool styling mods, so it's actually quite good really :)

It's fairly obvious that niether of the other two chops are going to get any votes, so in my personal opinion, TK Tuning should advance. Despite being in an primitive wip stage, it looks like one of the coolest entries of the whole round, while also showing a lot of technical skill. For me lexotic's chop, although good, just isn't quite up to the same standard.

Good luck to all :-d

Just a heads up, and I'll provide more details when I have time: Flavio's chop is 90% BMW 3 series donor.

You're correct Construct, as I pointed out in the submission thread. It seems that for some reason the References/donors weren't added to the chops in this thread.

You can find all the donors/references in this thread:

http://www.autemo.com/forums/?t=15034

In this case it's clear that although the chop is 90% the matte black BMW, it isn't 90% the one donor, but it seems the work is a culmination of a number of pics as references/donors. More impressive than if it was just one pic used as a donor.

a little bit too dark but a really great athmo, and a lot of creative details...
a clean brushing for a perfect realism...
WellDone :-d

2 points Flavio Bauck

I have hesitate between you and Rookie, your interpretation of the M3 donnors is good, and the 2 views give you this.
Take care @ a little more creativity for the next :mrteeth:

1 point TK tuning

a very good chop but a little bit too classic and a little bit too saturated :)
3 Points - Chita Designer
Most realistic and great dark atmosphere in the front view chop. Rear view seems to have some off reflections at the back.

2 Points - Rookiejeno
Best atmosphere in this division, just not as realistic as Chita Designer's and only on view, not enough to take the top spot. Background is also off, wrong angle.

1 Point - Flavio Bauck
Don't really like the design at the front, too much going on and a bit much BMW.
At least it still has shapes of the Genesis. Also reflection of the garage door on the front view roof is off by a lot.
