PISSED OFF because the photo is smudged and you cant really see my face .. is there anyway i can renew it without actually applying again and paying the £90 ? Not that I know UK law, but I wouldn't think so. Here the side with the info is laminated and won't get damaged anyway.

Why do you need a new passport right away though? If you're studying in the UK I would guess that you wouldn't go anywhere outside Schengen/EU anyway seeing as you're skint.

Apparently a future release of Photoshop (CS24) will have support for drying real life photos. Not sure if it's compatible with passports though.

Taking it that you're in the UK from your info under your name, I did a little research. I don't think it's £90 to get a new one. To renew one, it's about £77.50. (Or more depending if you're wanting more pages. Don't know what that means). I don't know though, I haven't ever had a passport.

I don't know about being able to use things like Photoshop would be able to dry photos to be honest, but I might be wrong. Hope I was some help.

More pages = more blank ones for visa stamps, nothing more than that.
