Honda Civic EJ9 **Pic heavy**
Here is my Honda Civic EJ9. Picked her up March 2011 and she was immaculate inside and out. Already hada good few mods done to her, but always good to do your own aswell. When I first got her:
A week later I treated her to clay bar, wax and polish. Only had her a week and I was contacted for a feature on her:
I gots some monies after a while; I have started to add my own touches to the car. I wanted to do things differently with the Civic as every other Civic out there is nearly the same.
First off I ordered my:
D1 Wheel Nuts in red
DC2 Bronze-ish Gear Knob
Bennen Rear Tow Bar
Wind Deflectors
Exhaust Backbox
Further down the line I then done the following:
* Removed the D1 Lug Nuts - Incorrect fitment and the paint started to come off them too.
* Removed the Bennen Tow Bar - Paint started to come off it.
* Removed the wind deflectors.
* Got my Bennen Tow Bar painted Candy Red.
* Custom centre section.
* Took backbox off as it was sitting out to far - It's now flushed and angled.
* Jap front plate which is now centered.
* Rear Jap plate which is also centered - Need to get the recess filled and painted as their is holes.
* Got a set of EK9 Replica Headlights fitted.
* Ordered a set of Spoon Replica Mirrors and getting painted Supersonic Blue.
Then I got my Spoon Mirrors, they originally arrived in matte black and needed painted:
Mirrors back after paint (crappy pic):
I had then ordered an EK9 Grille: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/99-00-Honda-Civic-JDM-EK9-Type-R-Style-Front-Grill-Grille-VTI-EK-EJ-EJ6-EJ9-EK3-/300665519475?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item46010fbd73
Grille finally arrived, instead of colour coding it I kept it black to make the front look more aggressive
Got my Spoon Mirrors fitted and painted too:
