Entering the world of rallying is no easy task for a manufacturer. Not only do you have to pay to see drivers smash your priceless cars to pieces, you also need a good enough vehicle in the first place.
To qualify for the Junior World Rally Championship (JWRC), car makers must produce a minimum number of road models that share a percentage of the rally machine's parts.
Suzuki is about to join the fray with the Ignis Sport. With a new 1.5-litre 16-valve VVT engine, this is the most powerful Ignis yet, pumping out a healthy 110bhp. Performance is lively, with the 0-60mph dash dispatched in 8.8 seconds, while the boxy body has been lowered by by just over 50mm to improve cornering stability.

i have read up on the web and found out they where build in a factory just for the ignis sport.

its drives great and the power delivery is awsome , i mean there is no lag at all the second you hit the throttle its just hauls and keeps hauling all the way to the red line
the numbers on paper are nice but not like real impressive , but irl it suprises a lot of cars , thats also due to the way it deliver the power
also its powerfull from low down up to the high revs , so the powerband is great

well bought this 2003 sport with 109.000 km's on it

it has a great history with loads of bills , got recent work done like < new disks and pads , new transmission oil , battery etc etc..

today i'm going to order some 16" wheels , lightweight also , 17" fits and looks good but performance wise its best not to exceed 16" (will spoil the fun)

i'm still not sure witch rims exactly i will order , gonna keep the car rally / racy

i knew that one hugo and there is a nother slammed one with dish .. but i want more of a racy / rally style

more performance looking

wheels are ordered !!!!!! i def want some racy ones

i'm so happy , first of all i went for matt bronze because i feel white is a pain too keep clean ..

in the end i went for a sparco drift , matt bronze in 7x17

after looking at several 16"at the car i just felt they where too small and we have calculated that the total diameter isnt that much bigger with the right tyre
also the weight of this wheel isnt that bad ...

this is the wheel

sparco_drift_bronze_8.jpg

racy look :P

this is how they look under a yaris (also 17's)

Try some Speedline:
Catalogue
Aftermarket
Supertourismo
Retrospective
Or some Tenzo-R Mach 10.
Rates: 1 stolen 4 very bad 6 acceptable 7 realistic + nice 8 very good 9 awesome 10 awesome + epic
:-d i already ordered the sparco's m8

off-course i looked into the speedlines , cool as hell and i love the retrospective new ones they made after the lancia delta integrale rims , just stunning
but fIrst off all they cost soo freaking much :omg:
the more normal speedlines are cool as well and are in the same price range as the sparco's i ordered

the thing is i have went to the same wheel shop for many many years , in fact its 17 years :omg: (yes this dude already modded cars when the general public did not hear of such things at all)
this shop is doing a bit worse now due to the economy and had to downsize a bit ..
they where one of the best and well known wheel supliers in holland (even the belgium guys went there a lot)
and because i know them very very well i want to buy the wheels there and give them the profit..

i could have bought on line and saved some cash even , then they send the rims with tyres on to your house and you mount them yourself ..

but like said i'm like when i go to one place (go's for all things not only car related) and the service is great and i love it there i will stay customer there..

that said he didnt do speedline anymore , even could have ordered them for me through a second channel but still..

so at first i wanted to order the oz supertourismo , but it was the same price for a full set 16" as it was for the sparco's in 17" (and the sparcos are made by oz lol)

also i didnt see a lot of sparco wheels and just liked them ..

i have to admit some of those speedlines are damn tasty and pure porn .. but dont be fooled the simple speedlines are afordable but those gravel and other sorts of rally wheels cost big bucks (read euro's :mrteeth:)

so all in all i just ordered the sparco's imo they look cool , are not heavy weight , are somewhat afordable (still cost a whole lot dont be mistaken)
plus i talked him into trowing in a anti theft wheel lug set , it will be monted and fitted correct with the right fill ring inserts for the hub

no i'm happy

i also had the chance to buy second hand RAYS engeneering wheels in 17" from his own car (only been on the car for 6 months) for the same price as the sparco's , they are hot and cost $$$$$$$$
but they didnt fit the look of the ignis

Oranje boooveeen XD
Nice choise of wheel anyway.
I think I now have more of a love for these than I already did before. To me, they're really cool cars, and I don't know why people hate on them.. Awesome choice with the wheels by the way, they'll look awesome when they're on ;).
I prefer engine oil and overalls to nail polish and fashion any day♥
Why not a classic bbs??
