badge-less grill made from two identical ones because few years ago no company sold this kind of grill(now everyone has it :) )

then came bilstein shocks and eibach springs 60/40, perfect combination for everyday car if you ask me,
because of smoked headlights i had to buy smoked turn signals too
and hauben bra (only for looks, no protection for hood at all)

then friend convinced me that i need bigger brakes to stop properly so we installed 280mm brakes from golf mk2 g60 and it really stops much much better then before
tarox brake discs and ebc green pads ;)

golf 4 GTI pedals and footrest

Neat man, love how they can look with the essential and right mods :P
Doesnt your have an mk4 gti engine too or did I misread a message of yours?
Nice car and cool story, bro! :P For real.
Think the rims could be cooler, but they look nice. And a lot better than before you restored them :)

no, you didn't, had to pay my college so I sold it :(

maybe it will come back in the future, when I finish my education and start to work, probably somewhere around 2020. haha xD

:-d

well there are some issues around body that need to be fixed, mainly rust under sideskirt and fender flares but hey, it's almost 20 years old...when I look at other cars from early 90s mine really is neat :mrteeth:

Looks sweet!, nice mods, change the engine and go to have more fun :D
Great job on the wheel resto! I had a st165 celica and did similar work on it to what you've done. I also painted the body of it in my dad's shed, but when it came to restoring the wheels I gave up halfway through and only ended up tidying up the outer lip part (had gutter burn) with an orbital and some wet and dry.
I know what you mean, rims are bitches when it comes to restoring them, thank God mine have only seven spokes
these were pain in the ass, can't imagine how much work would go into them if there were more spokes :mrteeth:
