For me, personally. I really do not like the gold color. The white looks alot better, and suits the car more. Also, the wheels I don't like, don't think they suit the car at all. But it's your work, so you decide what you want to do. Keep it up :D.
I prefer engine oil and overalls to nail polish and fashion any day♥
Nice start, I will remove the black hood for sure, doesn't fit with the rest of the car. Also if you are going with the yellow/brown color, try to increase the contrast of the paint, it will look a lot better.
:awesome:
dA
the black of the hood is way too dark
it needs to have a more light tone at the top
there are just ti little tone / light variations in the black , if the silver is that bright .. the black should go more towards grey tones with brighter highlighted area's

i think you's better loose the black hood all together it just doesnt look that good on a 5-series , next time dont darken it so much as one piece

same go's for the gold paint you made it gold and made it so dark the tone variations got lost and the whole paint / body becomes unreal and doesnt match the rest anymore

also watch your tones / hue colors

on the gold version all the pastic still have strong blue hue's , the gold has not got that , so either the blues should go / be toned down or the gold needs some blue hue

and on the rims there is a strong pink hue ..

those hue's are so important to get right and imo when placing parts on the car or changing colors you should match those instantly that way you wont get lost in a plallete of non matching hue's :-d :-d

The first one reminds me of this : http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets/images/12/2012/02/93eb54a39ecf1e834266126709290279.jpg :P
Styling is all up to you, rich gave some good pointers about the hues though
The BG is nice, but needs to be blurred a bit. The parts you kept from the original BG don't fit in now ;)
Keep it up!

Haha sam that was my first inspiration :p
I know I need to blurr the bg but first I wanted to make the interior and then blur the parts behind the car trough the windows in one go so it is blurred the same ;)

Will follow your tips and maybe indeed change the hood to the car color, but I kinda like it :P

Wip2, changed the darkness of the hood, increased the contrast of the paint, started the interior, and inserted a grille into the frontbumper.
