Hi people, as some of you know I work as an editorial designer. Some day ago we start planning a new project based on cars (FINALLY!) and I'm working on the layout design of this magazine (we don't know yet if that will be printed or will be distributed only in digital format). So here is the first test pic of the general layout for a news. I'll be really happy if you can leave me a feedback about that in order to create the better layout I can.

Stylish, energetic layout. I could easily imagine seeing this in a automotive magazine such as CAR or Top Gear. I like shapes and colors used. Very professional-looking!

Yep, I'm just a bit delusioned cause this kind of work require, usually, more time to be defined and tuned (starting with a blank page with no imput from the editor)... approx one month for a full defined magazine, starting from logo, font usage, style sheet, title, subtitle and all elements you need for having a right and continous feeling reading the magazine.. but, as always, here comes the editor that say "Ok Luca, we need that... for tomorrow"... pics I've posted are results of a couple of hours of work with InDesign.

Anyway, as I've written in my previous post, I'm glad to see that the overall layout is appreciated... now you can understand why I do fast chops...

in my opinion i dont think the cover is as well designed or as professional looking as the in pages.
i think you should get some tips and work on it more as the cover says everything about the magazine.
main tip i would say is that title would look better with a transparent bg
