All rumours, results, news etc posted here as well as discussion.

I'm an avid fan and know a few of the drivers personally as well as some pit crews and trainers. during the season i will be traveling to a few of the races and hopefully getting some inside information which i will hopefully be able to show you guys too. obviously i won't be able to get all the info but i plan to add most info on all the races plus my own previews and reviews. feel free to add any information i fail to add.

(copied from 2011 thread)

Team Lotus will become Team Caterham (team principal bought caterham recently)

Lotus Renault GP will become Lotus GP (not confirmed but renault may pull the name as they will only supply engine)

confusing hey?

also Virgin will become Marussia F1

Pedro de la Rosa will return with Hispania (HRT) something about making a spanish national team???
Charels Pic will join Marussia replacing Jérôme d'Ambrosio

no more Turkish GP which is unfortunate as the drivers love the circuit and provides great overtaking but no money and terrible attendance

as is normal the german GP will be at Hockenheim as it alternates yearly with nurb. should be good as they never been there with Pirrelli

and a possible reconfigoration of Yas Marina to accomodate more overtaking

will update more as i find out.

ps im a webber fan so also looking forward to him getting more wins!

so kimi is back for 2012 for lotus (formaly lotus renault) so surely that would say he (kubica) would take petrov's place if he does come back.

6 world champions in 2012! including 2 double world champions and of course schumi.

america looks like it might not happen.

2015?

2003,2004,2006,2009 never forget.

See how well he dragged those cars to places they shouldnt belong?

If Lotus gets any kind of car together you need to watch out ;)

Same with Mercedes, Schumi too.

Shame about the few gimmick rules like the drs and the restrictions on few weird areas which doesnt really say pinnacle of racing, but still gonna watch it.

Have watched all the races since 1999 start so not gonna start missing now (and all expect few from 1994-1998 and some before too afterwards ofcourse)

Hope that Mercedes, Ferrari, Lotus, Red Bull, Caterham and Williams do well.

From drivers im rooting for Kimi, Schumi, Heikki, Nico and Button. (Bottas, Senna and Kubica too if they somehow find way to grid on middle of 2012)

Good start to thread Tetra, i wish i knew some drivers too, would be cool.

I have sat on genuine JJ.Lehtos f1 car which was on display long time ago so that was awesome though.
kimi crashed on snowmobilerace but luckily didnt hurt himself too bad

What the hell, toro rosso replaced both drivers.

Especially Alguersuari was excellent this year, i dont really like this change of events too much.
